What is more perfect than waterfalls, romantic trails, cliffs, and love! Sarah and Kevin were recently married and contacted us to do a special Destination Trash the Dress session. This location totally had a “Costa Rica Rainforest” type of vibe and we were so lucky to get these awesome shots!

We are so overjoyed to celebrate the union of Kemo and Theresia! On this beautiful 70-something degree day, these lovebirds shared their commitment amongst their closest family and friends. Seeing them grow from our past engagement session to husband and wife was beyond touching! Thank you for allowing us to capture your everlasting memories.

Meet Philip, Jeena, and Baby Phylicia better known as “The Quansah’s”…..Again!
We tagged along with them for a fun Saturday morning in the park. The last time we introduced this family to our SDP friends, Jeena had a belly, and Phylicia was in it!! Their maternity session was great and so was this family session.
During this shoot, we learned 3 new things about Baby Phylicia:
1) Chewing leaves are a tasty, nutritional snack 2) She loves to swing 3) You can bribe her to do anything with Cheerios!
We have to stock up on more for our next session

This past year has been filled with joy, smiles, and laughter. We’ve had the opportunity to meet great couples, witness lots of love, and travel to wonderful places! We usually reserve our blog for “lovey-dovey” photography (weddings, engagements, family, etc), but we wanted to share a few of our other photography encounters!

So many obstacles for this shoot, but ohhhhh soooo worth it!!!! We planned ahead to shoot on a calm beautiful California afternoon………who knew it would only be 3 days after Los Angeles’ biggest wind storm ever!! haha !! We were a bit nervous about the weather and wasn’t sure what to expect but mother nature smiled down on us, and although a bit chilly, it was a glorious evening! Brianna’s smile could literally light up the entire room and David pulled out all the “GQ” moves for this shoot! We hoped to shoot in a New York “vibe-ish” central park, but quickly got escorted out……..how do you get kicked out of a park??? LOL! Nonetheless, we had a “make it work” moment and captured some lovely shots shared between Brianna and David. We are sooooo looking forward to their wedding next year!
