A Wedding!! {Dahlia + Damien}

After having a blind date with Dahlia and Damien across the globe, we fell in love instantaneously!  They are both like magnets and have a way of drawing you into their wonderful energy!  When they decided to have a destination wedding at Couples Tower Isle Resort in Jamaica, we were super thrilled….considering that’s where we honeymooned!!!

The wedding was so magical and they were surrounded by so many family and friends who traveled so far to witness this blessing.  What was even better was this beautiful bird that hovered over them during their ceremony…we are sure it was Dahlia’s mom and Damien’s father watching down from heaven.

We’ve documented the love story of Leslie and Charles from the very beginning.  First…they created a friendship, next…a relationship, then….the start of a loving marriage, and now a life!  We are truly blessed to share in these special moments and cherish the memories that we are creating together!

A Soolip Wedding!!

We had the honor of exhibiting at A Soolip Wedding 2013 this past Sunday at the Beautiful Bel Air Bay Club!  Tons of gorgeous brides-to-be, talented vendors, champagne, an awesome live band, tasty passed hor dourves and most importantly, wonderful energy!

It was quite a task hand-building our reclaimed pallet wood booth and took lots of dedication, blood, sweat and tears…LITERALLY, but we DID IT and it was ohhhh….so worth the work!

Big thanks to Wanda Wen and shout out to her entire Soolip crew (Brooke & Erica), for being so accommodating and helpful….and lastly, a huge CONGRATULATIONS to our big wedding photography raffle winner, Alisha Ginsberg!  Yay!!!

Deanne + Paul {Engagement Session}

It was so great reconnecting with Deanne and Paul!  We originally met them as guests, while shooting another wonderful couple’s wedding, Brianna & David!!  We were so stoked to see them again.  After our pow-wow consultation, we scheduled a date to shoot their engagement session, however, mother nature had different plans….or so we thought!  All week long, the forecast predicted rain, so to be on the safe side, we rescheduled for a later date……..and of course, what-do-you-know….NO RAIN!!!  So then we tried for the following weekend…which happened to be Superbowl Weekend.  Yikes!!!!  Needless to say, Brian and Paul were on the same page, which leads us to yet ANOTHER date….lol.

Finally, we are here!  The day we tried for so many times.  The day Deanne and Paul shared their love with us in the freezing cold.  The day we documented the start of their lifelong journey.  The day we stuffed our faces with IHOP right after the shoot.  Today was that day and it was a GOOD day! :)

2012 {Rewind}

2012……… a wonderful year!!!  We are starting our year end tribute a bit early due to the fact that we will be traveling during the Christmas holiday and may not be able to post for a while.   This year was filled with love, playfulness, and discovery!  We were grateful to be published in Essence Magazine and Latino Bride and Groom and are thankful for the opportunity to do what we love!!

There are so many wonderful couples, places, and people that we had the pleasure of meeting and befriending during the 2012 year…too many to include in 1 post, but here is a glimpse of some of our favorite moments!  We couldn’t include everyone and everyplace, but please know that you are in our hearts!!!
